Wardlow Offers First Look at New American Gladiators Persona

It’s been a while since we’ve heard from Wardlow. Following a lengthy absence to film two seasons of American Gladiators, MJF’s former bodyguard returned to promptly join the Don Callis family and immediately get injured. Though he has been spotted backstage at AEW shows, there’s apparently no timeline for his return.

Well…maybe not to wrestling. But he’ll be back on TV screens soon enough as “Fang” on American Gladiators, starting April 17th on Prime Video. Via X.com, he shared a first look at the cast — pause it on ‘Fang” to see him. “I grew up watching this show so little me is very proud to say, I am an American Gladiator!” he added.

Per Wrestling Inc., other wrestlers in the Gladiator lineup include Kamille (Kailey Latimer) as “Hurricane,” Rick Boogs (Eric Bugenhagen) under the name “The Bull,” Jessie “Mr. “Pectacular” Godderz competing as “Steel,” and former OVW Women’s Champion Jessica “J-Rod” Roden as “Supernova.” WWE superstar The Miz will host, making this technically a rare, probably unacknowledged, interpromotional crossover.

The show was filmed a while ago, so if the audience started loudly chanting “Ward-low, Ward-low” instead of “Fang,” there’s been plenty of time to edit that out in post-production.
