Wardlow Reportedly Suffered Recent Injury, Could Remain on Television

Fightful Select reports that Wardlow recently suffered an injury, just after making his return at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door last month. According to the report, it’s believed that the injury is a torn pectoral muscle, which could keep him out of action for a while. This is bad timing for Wardlow, who just spent over a year away from AEW. He was cleared several months ago, but stayed away to film American Gladiators.

However, the report noted that he could stay on TV in an enforcer role. While it’s believed the injury happened at Forbidden Door, that hasn’t been confirmed.

Several talents in the company were said to be “bummed” that Wardlow waited so long to return and is injured after the return happened.
