Mick Foley Congratulates Kenny Omega on AEW World Championship Victory

Mick Foley has reacted to Kenny Omega winning the AEW World Championship at Dynamite: Beach Break.

As noted previously, the main event of last night’s Dynamite saw MJF defend the AEW World Championship against Kenny Omega. The match had major implications, as Omega would have lost the opportunity to challenge for the company’s top prize had he failed to dethrone Friedman.

As it turned out, The Cleaner executed three V-Triggers and a One-Winged Angel to put MJF away and reclaim his place at the top of the AEW mountain.

Earlier today, Mick Foley, who was a part of an angle feat. The Don Callis Family at Dynamite: Beach Break, took to Instagram to congratulate Kenny Omega. Foley hailed The Best Bout Machine for overcoming several hurdles along his way over the past few years and reclaiming his place at the top. Foley also claimed that he felt a “sense of community” last night, adding that he feels extremely fortunate to be a part of All Elite Wrestling.

Kenny has been so great for so long and deserves so much credit for overcoming his injuries and adversity to claim this title. There was a feeling of electricity in that crowd in Clearwater Beach, Florida, last night felt to me like a sense of community, despite the heat and humidity. I feel so fortunate to be working for this company and such an incredibly talented roster.”
