Gia Miller Issues Statement Following Attack by Tessa Blanchard at TNA Slammiversary

– As previously noted, TNA wrestler Tessa Blanchard attacked Indi Hartwell and Gia Miller after losing a match to Hartwell last Sunday at Slammiversary. She also repeatedly punched Miller her in the head slammed her head into the steps. Gia Miller has now issued a statement on the attack earlier today via social media. She wrote the following:
“I want to start off by saying thank you to everyone who has reached out. I’m sorry I haven’t gotten back to you all individually so I’m making this post to let everyone know that I am okay, I am not ready to talk about what happened yet. TNA has allowed me to take some time to process and decide how I would like to handle this situation moving forward. I ask that you respect my privacy during this time. Be kind to each other. Gia.”
Miller was interviewing Hartwell when Blanchard attacked both women. Santino Marella then had Blanchard escorted out of the building by security. It was later announced that the former champion was “indefinitely suspended” for her attack.
