Giulia Says Kiana James Has Helped Her a Lot, Talks Learning English

Giulia credits Kiana James with helping her quite a bit since they’ve been paired up on the main roster. James has been paired with the Women’s United States Champion since last year when she returned to TV as Giulia’s advisor. Since then, they’ve teamed up in the ring and recently set their sights on the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.

Giulia spoke with Adrian Hernandez for a new interview and was asked about her partnership with James. She noted that they respect each other a lot and that James has helped her with her English. She also spoke about how much work she’s been putting in to learn the language, and you can see highlights below:

On Being Paired With Kiana James:

“She helped me a lot. Because yeah, my English is bad, really bad. So sometime I cannot understand people who are talking so fast…and then she’s here, she’s standing behind me and translat[ing] easy English. And yeah, she’s so nice, and I think we respect each other. It’s really meaningful.”

On Learning English:

“I go to English class twice a week, and then also I take extra English class. And an app on the phone, and YouTube, and if I have time I sit down [and] study, study, study. So every day, because my English was zero when I came here.”
