Gunther Comments on Danhausen Hosting Next Week’s WWE SmackDown, Teases Spoiling the Show for Him

As previously reported, Danhausen will be hosting next week’s edition of WWE SmackDown, which will be a “Very Nice, Very Evil” edition of the show. In a new WWE digital exclusive video, Gunther commented on Danhausen hosting the show, and he’s not too happy about the news.

Speaking to Cathy Kelley, Gunther said about Danhausen hosting SmackDown, “I get what we’re doing. Well, first of all, I hate Halloween. And secondly, I get what we’re doing. Special night for the underprivileged weirdo. Everybody get together, make him feel like he belongs in a space where he doesn’t belong. I mean, that’s what we do, it’s what we are, right? WWE family. Make him feel special. But nobody cares about that.”

Gunther then hinted that he intends to spoil next week’s show for Danhausen. He warned, “You know what, Cathy? I’m going to be there next week, and I’m going to make sure it’s going to be a very special night for a very special boy.”

Gunther has recently been in the midst of a feud with Danhausen on Friday Night SmackDown. His comments seem quite ominous for the very nice, very evil wrestler.

Next week’s edition of WWE SmackDown is being held at the Charleston Coliseum in Charleston, West Virginia. The show will air live on USA Network starting at 8:00 pm ET.
