Iyo Sky Wins Queen of the Ring at WWE Night of Champions 2026, Beats Liv Morgan Thanks to Curse by Danhausen

The Danhausen curse strikes again! Iyo Sky is the new WWE Queen of the Ring, beating reigning Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan in the finals of the tournament at today’s WWE Night of Champions 2026 event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Sky arguably received a bit of a moral, or perhaps magic, assist from the very nice, very evil Danhausen. Before the match, Danhausen came out and spoke about his experiments after coming into a great deal of human monies.
That drew out Liv Morgan, who demanded Danhausen pay back the Judgment Day or bad things would happen to him. In response, Danhausen cursed Morgan. Morgan was obviously none too happy about being cursed and slapped poor Danhausen, leading to her matchup against Sky.
It was a hard-fought match. However, Iyo Sky picked up the win after hitting Morgan with a Spanish Fly off the top rope. The Queen of the Sky followed that up with a top-rope moonsault. That was enough to secure the pinfall and the victory.
After the match, Nick Aldis awarded Iyo Sky with her Queen of the Ring crown. Sky immediately made her choice for her title shot at SummerSlam, declaring that she will see Liv Morgan at WWE SummerSlam. So it will now be Liv Morgan vs. Iyo Sky for the belt at WWE SummerSlam 2026 in August.
Iyo Sky did not thank Danhausen for the curse assist after the match.
