On what made Michael Hayes so special: “Oh Michael could talk, and he was good-looking. He had that long blonde hair man, and people just hated him. They just f**king hated him.”
On Terry Gory: “He could roll. He was phenomenal in the ring, he really was. He was very young too, he started when he was 14. Sure as hell did.”
On whether he saw Gory fight: “Oh yeah. Oh yeah, I see him tear up a couple of bars. It got so bad in Shreveport, because we used to Shreveport every week. He got so bad there we couldn’t get into bars. They banned us.”
