Jeff Hardy recently revealed that he’s been dealing with a neck injury for the past couple of months, though he’s cleared to compete. Jeff revealed the news during an interview as The Hardys stopped by the Budget Cut Podcast to promote TNA Impact’s debut on AMC this week as well as TNA Genesis.
Hardy revealed that he suffered the injury during their NXT Tag Team Championship loss to DarkState at NXT Halloween Havoc. He noted that he has a couple bulging discs in his neck but that it’s gotten better and he’s cleared to compete.
“I’ve been dealing with an injury since we dropped the titles at NXT, man,” Jeff said. “Actually got two bulging discs on the left side of my neck, and I had a rough night last night. So I mean, it’s definitely better than it was at first. But we’ve been slower for two months now. Naturally, that’s a little stress creator for me.”
He continued, “But I’m cleared, I can go out. You got to be safe. And it’s going to be worth the price of admission, that’s for sure.”
The Hardys are set for six-man tag action on Impact, as they team with Elijah against Order 4. They will then put their TNA World Tag Team Championships on the line against The Righteous at TNA Genesis on Saturday.
