Jey Uso, LA Knight Advance In Last Time Is Now Tournament On WWE Smackdown, Zack Ryder Returns

Jey Uso and LA Knight moved on in the Last Time Is Now Tournament on WWE Smackdown, the latter facing off with a returning Zack Ryder. Uso defeated The Miz on Friday’s show to advance in the tournament. He picked up the win with a spear followed by an Uso Splash.
Meanwhile, Knight was facing a mystery opponent. That proved to be Ryder, aka Matt Cardona. The Indie God returned in his WWE persona, complete with his “Woo Woo Woo” theme. This marks Cardona’s first WWE main roster match since his release in April of 2020. He competed as Cardona on the October 7th episode of WWE NXT.
Ryder put up a fight against Knight but fell to the BFT. That allowed Knight to advance to the second round where he joins Uso, Rusev and Sheamus.
