Jim Ross Undergoes Successful Brain Surgery, Set to Return Home Later This Week

In a heartening update, legendary commentator Jim Ross successfully underwent brain surgery this morning. As noted, Ross announced last month that he would be undergoing brain surgery shortly. Last week, the veteran revealed that the surgery had been scheduled for this Wednesday.

Yesterday, JR took to social media to explain the surgical process and to thank his well-wishers for their support. Ross noted that a hole would be drilled in his skull and a small tube would be inserted into his stomach for better management of excess brain fluid.

Earlier today, Conrad Thompson shared a positive update regarding JR on social media, noting that Ross had a successful procedure and is expected to be home by Friday.

Thompson wrote, “Happy to report that our pal @JRsBBQ had a successful procedure this morning! I heard from his lovely daughter this morning that everything went well and good ole JR is expected to be back home by Friday! 🤠 Please keep JR in your prayers as we hope for a speedy recovery!” Check out his post below:
