Jimmy House is the latest WWE ID star, with the announcement being made Sunday on social media. The WWE ID Twitter account announced that house was presented with an ID contract by Timothy Thatcher at Dustin Rhodes’ Rhodes Wrestling Association.
The Twitter account wrote:
“BREAKING….
@coachjimmyhouse was just given a WWE ID contract by WWE ID Player/Coach Timothy Thatcher at @RhodesWrestling!
Congrats and welcome, Jimmy House!”
House was part of WWE’s tryout in January. He has been wrestling for three years and has competed for Reality of Wrestling, Phoenix Championship Wrestling, and more. He had a match on the December 2nd episode of ROH On HonorClub, competing in a six-man tag team match against the Dark Order .
The company has been announcing new ID talents recently, and a report on Friday from Fightful Select noted that more deals will be announced in the weeks to come.
The program is designed to sign independent talent to deals, giving them access to WWE resources while they continue working the indie scene. A number of wrestling schools are associated with the program, such as Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling and Cody Rhodes & QT Marshall’s Nightmare Factory. Talent under the contracts also often work matches on WWE Evolve.
