Joe Hendry Beats The Miz In Miracle on 34th Street Fight On WWE Smackdown

Joe Hendry picked up his first WWE main roster show win, beating The Miz on this week’s WWE Smackdown. Friday night’s show saw the NXT star hold a special concert before his match with the former WWE Champion. Hendry mocked Miz with a “Jingle Bells” parody before Miz came out and interrupted. Nick Aldis then came out to announce the stipulation.

Hendry picked up the victory over Miz in about 11 and a half minutes. He got an assist from R-Truth, Otis and Tozawa to take over. Hendry nailed Miz with the guitar and then hit the Standing Ovation for the victory. You can check out video of the match below.

It was reported earlier today that the company has had discussions about calling Hendry up to the main roster.
