John Cena Hypes Next Week’s WWE Raw Appearance, Teases Details on John Cena Classic Tournament

As previously reported, John Cena is slated to appear on next week’s WWE Raw in Brooklyn, New York. Earlier this morning, Cena commented on the upcoming show, teasing that we will finally learn details about the previously announced John Cena Classic Tournament.

Cena wrote on his X account today, “Make sure not to miss #WWERaw next week. SPECIAL START TIME OF 6PM EST! The wait is over, the speculation ends 11/2. Let’s build this ‘Never Seen’ CLASSIC! OUR time is NOW!”

Cena previously announced the John Cena Classic Tournament when he last appeared for the promotion at WWE Backlash in May. The upcoming tournament will feature NXT wrestlers going up against main roster Superstars.

Cena also stated that fan voting will determine the winner of the tournament, suggesting that even if a wrestler loses, he or she could still win the title. The winner will receive the John Cena Classic Championship.

Next week’s WWE Raw, featuring an appearance by Cena, is being held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on November 2. The show will air live on Netflix starting at 8:00 pm ET.
