John Cena took to social media earlier today to thank WWE ring announcer Alicia Taylor for her “professionalism” and love for pro wrestling.

The Greatest of All Time competed at a WWE PLE for the last time at this past weekend’s Survivor Series: WarGames, where he was dethroned as Intercontinental Champion by Dominik Mysterio, thanks to the returning Liv Morgan. This was the last time that Taylor introduced him. Following the event, Alicia took to her X account, where she noted the same, stating that it was an “absolute honor” for her to share the ring with John Cena throughout his Farewell Tour.

She wrote:

“#SurvivorSeries was my final @JohnCena announcement! It has been an absolute honor to share the ring w[ith] ‘The Greatest of ALL-TIME’ on his @WWE #FarewellTour #ThankYouCena 🫡.”

Earlier today, John Cena responded to Alicia Taylor’s post and thanked the latter for being a driving force behind the WWE Universe being invested in the moments that play out on screen. He wrote:

“Matches and moments are only memorable if we ALL believe in them. Thank YOU for being a driving force to help audiences around the world enjoy and invest in these moments. NO ONE does it alone. Your professionalism, passion, presentation, and overall love of the business lay the foundation for lifelong memories.”
