We’re starting off hot!
Ricky Sosa & Leon Slater vs. The System
Tonight, the System is being represented by Edward Edwards and X-Division Champion Prime Alexander.
Sosa and Edwards will start at the bell. BANG BANG, SOSA SOSA says the fans, and Cedric tells them to stop it lol. Early lock-up, Sosa with a Full Nelson Slam and a back splash for a two. Edwards turns the tables and drives Sosa to their corner. Alexander tags in and he takes a cheap shot at Slater on the apron. The System attempt to double team Sosa, but he isn’t having any of that.
Tag to Slater, and he lays into Alexander. Mounted punches from Slater, but Alexander chops him and escapes. He tags in Eddie, who gets hit with a Rana from Leon and he gets the ten mounted punches. Slater backs up, runs in, and hits a Monkey Flip for a two. Edwards with a hammer throw, Sosa with a blind tag, and Slater hits a handstand back elbow.
Slater and Sosa countdown from three to one and they take flight and wreck the System! The good guys are feeling it as we *hit the break.
*Hit the break on TNA+ means still getting the action during the break, where I assume that AMC and AMC+ wouldn’t have the same luxury.
Skater and Sosa work quick tags, and they abuse the arm of Edwards. Sosa with chops and right hands to Edwards. Tag to Slater, Eddie tries to get out of harm’s way, but Slater with a recoil enziguri that gets him a two. Tag to Sosa, hammer throw, double team elbow from Sosa and Slater, and Ricky with a standing splash for a two.
Edwards is still in trouble after Sosa hits him with an elbow and a release German. Alexander is in, but Sosa smashes him with a forearm as well. Alisha with the distraction, allowing Alexander the chance to hit a dropkick. Cedric tells the fans to SHUT UP, and Eddie has turned the tables.
Edwards tags in Alexander as the fans are willing on Sosa. Open shot to the ribs from Prime, snapmare and a PK gets him a two. Alexander keeps Sosa grounded with a chin lock, he tags in Edwards, and Eddie hits a running chop in the corner. Eddie with a running back elbow, tag to Cedric, who hits an elbow drop. Ground and pound from Alexander, as he taunts Slater. Alexander professes his innocence to Frank Gastineau, but it’s a ruse, as Alisha can grab and choke Sosa.
Cedric tags in Eddie, headbutt from Edwards to Sosa. Edwards looking for a suplex, but Sosa hits a counter suplex! Sosa with the tag BARELY to Slater, who goes after Alexander. Off the ropes with the Spider-Man move, and Slater with a spinning wheel kick! HUGE boot in the corner from Slater heard around Philly lol. Slater to the top, he hits the Crossbody, but Edwards makes the save. Eddie drops Ricky from the apron, and the System run the clotheslines train.
Eddie throws Slater into Alexander, but Slater with a lariat and a roll-up for a two. Alexander puts an end to that with the Michinoku Driver for a two. Alexander talks smack to the fans, but he doesn’t realize that Sosa got the tag. He finds the hard way when Ricky hits him with a springboard missile dropkick! Slater feeds Edwards to Sosa for a Powerslam. Sosa scores on Edwards with the running European Uppercut! Tag to Slater, Sosa hits a flying elbow to Edwards, and Slater with the Swanton 450 to Cedric for the win!
WINNERS: Ricky Sosa and Leon Slater
TIME: 12:15
THOUGHTS: Sosa and Slater are SUCH a fun team, and I’m glad that, even after Slater lost the X-Title, that he hasn’t disappeared entirely from the company. Strap the rocket to Sosa while we are at it!
RATING: ***3/4
Post-match, Slater has the mic. He calls Cedric a bum lol. Every time that Leon has lost to Cedric has been in tag team matches, but he just beat him here tonight. So, Slater is calling his shot for the X-Division Title at Lockdown inside the cage!
Order-4 are in the back. Mustafa Ali tells John Skyler to go and get every member of the Order-4. Skyler turns around, but he runs into Mila Moore’s chest. After starring for a bit, he tells Ali that he forgot what he told him. LMAO! Ali screams at him to get out of here and tells Mila to go get the other Order-4 members.
Thea Hail and Indi Hartwell will do battle, next!
BREAK IN PROGRESS!
The Elegance Brand are here post-break. The Personal Concierge is happy! He can see again! And he got the contract rematch for the Knockouts Tag Team Titles. And then, the TV Title! Heather wants to know what will happen if her and Maggie keep advancing, they will have to face each other. Iceman ignores this and says he can see! He sees them winning the tag team titles again for a third time, third time, third time!
Matt and Tom take a moment to give a shoutout and love to Tanea Brooks AKA Rebel, who was diagnosed with ALS recently. Awesome. ❤️
On to the quarterfinals we go!
Knockouts TV Title Quarterfinals Match: Thea Hail vs. Indi Hartwell
The ten-minute time limit is still in effect for quarterfinals matches.
The bell rings, and both ladies lock-up. Indi uses her height advantage to take Thea to the corner. Clean break, and they lock-up again. Hartwell with a side headlock, Thea sends her off, we get rope running, and Indi tries an arm drag, but Hail grabs the arm bar! Hartwell leans back to break the hold, and it sends Hail to the floor.
Hail back on the apron, she kicks Hartwell away, but Hartwell with a drive-by kick. Hartwell with the dreaded chinlock, but Hail with an arm drag. Hartwell catches Hail and looks for the Hurts Donut, but Hail escapes with an arm drag. Running bulldog attempt, but Indi shoves Thea away. Hail fires back with a double jump into a stomp to the arm of Indi.
Hail continues the arm abuse of Hartwell. Indi frees herself by rolling up Thea for a two. Backslide from Hartwell for a two. Hail reverses a hammer throw with a double knee to the bad arm of Indi. The cover, Hartwell is out at two. Hail drives Hartwell back down to the mat with complete arm control. Hail kneels down and goes into joint manipulation. He stomps on the shoulder of Hartwell and repeats this action. Double wrist lock from Hail, but Hartwell gets back to her feet.
Indi still can’t escape the grasp of Hail, as Thea takes her right back down to the mat. Hartwell to her feet again, and she shoves Hail away. She catches Hail’s boot and she lays in strikes. Hail looking for the Spinebuster, but Hail is able to counter with a Kimura. Hartwell finally connects on the Spinebuster as a means to escape, and that gets her a two.
Hail is kicked out of the ring and to the floor. Ever persistent, Hail climbs to the top and connects with a cross-body block! Hail rolls through with a running splash. Hail looking to end it, but Hartwell avoids and she rolls up Thea for a two. Hartwell looking for a Powerbomb, but her arm gives out. Hail hits the corner hard, and Hartwell is able to connect with the Hurts Donut for the win!
WINNER: Indi Hartwell
TIME: 7:45
THOUGHTS: Hartwell was the one to win this match since she is a TNA talent, but Hail showed us a good piece of technical work.
RATING: ***1/4
We see AJ Francis pestering jobbers in the back for donations to Expressions and his hospital bills. He complains that they only gave him forty dollars, and he runs into Rich Swann and BDE. Francis says you should feel generous and donate, but BDE says what about your MONEY MONEY? Francis says you can’t say that anymore, and BDE tells him shut his bald ass up. Swann calls him a big bald idiot and they leave. Francis says that Swann is bald too lol.
We will hear from KC Navarro, next!
BREAK IN PROGRESS!
We’re back, and KC Navarro is in the middle of the ring. PARDON ME, BUT ARE WE FEELING BLESSED TONIGHT IN PHILLY OR WHAT? Philly will always hold a special place in his heart, he loves us. Last week, he had the biggest opportunity of his life and he fought for the TNA Title. And he failed. And he won’t lie, no one was harder on KC than KC was. And at that moment, I felt like I didn’t belong in TNA. I thought about everything that I went through; losing my home as a child, losing my uncle recently. The kids who bullied me and told me I would never ne anything, they were almost right.
But then he thought about his journey to this point. He grinded on the Indies here in Philly and even got a spot on One Night Only back in 2019, but he didn’t get the job. He wanted to show all the kids that he could make it, and he shouts out his younger brothers in the front row. KC chants, and he knows the whole World hears it, and everyone in the back hears it, he belongs here! When you climb the mountain, you will have friends, and snakes who will betray you. But you can never quit, because my story is not over, it is just beginning!
The System is back, and Alisha Edwards assaults our auditory senses. She says no one cares about KC and his sad story. Brian Myers said he likes him enough to that he set up a coloring book and some crayons in the back so he can go and color while the adults do their thing. LMAO.
Prime Alexander says he thought about Leon’s challenge, and the answer is NO! Not tonight, not tomorrow, not next week, not next month, not next year.
Eddie says that they are done with Sosa and Slater. They are not worthy of getting another shot at them. Okay, but they JUST beat you in the opening match?
KC interrupts and says this is his time. They call themselves the gatekeepers, but nah, all KC sees is a bunch of bitches.
Big mistake, says Eddie, and they look to gang up on KC! Here come Sosa, Slater, and Fabian Aichner, and the System tuck tail and run.
We see Allie walking around in the back. She is looking for Rosemary, but she can’t find her. She approaches Daria Rae, who is on the phone. She asks Daria if she has seen Rosemary, and she hasn’t. And if Allie doesn’t find her, then she will have to defend the titles by herself. Rae leaves, and Allie says she can do this.
The Injury report is brought to us by AMC!
BREAK IN PROGRESS!
Gia Miller has Xia Brookside in the back as we return. Gia wants to know why Xia attacked both Elayna Black and Wendy Choo last week. Why, asks Xia. What hard hitting questions. Xia proved a point that she is simply better than Elayna because she doesn’t have to say it, she proves it. And Wendy tried to play the hero and stick her nose in her business.
Wendy Choo is here! She wasn’t scheduled to be here because she was eliminated last week, but she wants to call Xia a coward to her face. Xia says she is not a coward, and Santino Marella is here! SONOFAGUN! He doesn’t like Xia and her attitude, so next week, she will face Choo. Elayna Black is here, and she says she hopes Wendy kicks her ass. Xia scoffs at this.
Promo for Dead City, an AMC and AMC+ show. Aimee Garcia, who stars in the show, is at ring side with a fan.
Tom is running over the tale of the tape for the Knockouts Tag Team Title match, but The Personal Concierge is here! He says he can see once again, but now he wishes he was blind, so he didn’t have to stare at all of us filthy pigs. Allie makes her entrance, but there is still no sign of Rosemary.
TNA Knockouts Tag Team Title Match: DemonxBunny vs. The Elegance Brand
The bell rings, and M taunts Allie. Allie goes on the attack and tries to hit the PC, but M attacks from behind and she takes Allie to their corner. Tag to Heather, who puts the boots to Allie and she does a pirouette. Tag to M, she fires her partner off, and she spins Heather around and slams her onto Allie, but she gets the knees up.
Allie fights back as M is checking on Heather. Allie with a double DDT to both Allie and M! The PC is on the apron with one of the tag team titles, and he holds onto the belt. Allie literally pulls him into the ring and he stalks him. ALLIE RIPS AT THE EYES OF THE PC! Mr. Elegance is in, and Allie hits him with the title belt. Allie smacks M with the title belt, and after ALL that has happened, that is what causes a DQ. Well, okay then.
WINNERS: The Elegance Brand via DQ
TIME: 2:40
THOUGHTS: The story line of Rosemary going MIA is an intriguing one, but this match didn’t need to exist to develop that story.
RATING: N/R
We see Jason Hotch getting ready for his International Title match later on tonight. We will hear from the Hardy’s, next!
BREAK IN PROGRESS!
Ad for the amateur wrestling show that TNA has teamed up with titled 30secondtakedown.
The Hardy’s are back from the Lake of Reincarnation, and they are now goats. HA, Matt gets a Matter of Fact in the style of his old Matt facts in WWE lol. Jeff is out as the Anti-Christ with his ANOTHER ME IS WHAT THERE WILL NEVER BE theme song. Now the Hardy’s get their standard tag team song played lol.
Matt says AHHHHHHHHHH YES, it is a great night to be in Philadelphia! Last week, they put an end to their blood feud with the Righteous! And they might be dead for all they know. Speaking of Dead, we have Amiee Garcia from Dead City here! Matt says they came out of that lake changed. Jeff says that is true, he is the Anti-Christ, he is sober, and he is a sober drunk. He knows some people are too stupid to understand that, but the DIEHARDYS will understand. Jeff says they need to kick some ass.
Matt says that they need to stand on their ten toes and spit facts. They were told they were the GOATS< and they came out of the Lake of Reincarnation as the GOATS. The reason TNA is on AMC is because of Matt and Jeff. This place runs on Hardy Dust! And you know what, it's very appropriate that won the titles back in a ladder match, because they created that, they made it famous!
Speaking of Champions and GOATS, Nic Nemeth (and Ryan) are here! Nic approaches Amiee and tries to impress her. Nic says he is more of a goat than both Hardy’s AND he has brother with him! Ryan says they are the real GOATS here. Ryan says we have a big show at Lockdown, and he wants the Hardy’s to put their tag team titles on the line. Matt quickly accepts, but SONOFAGUN Santino is here! Philadelphia, I have a question for you? Do you want to see the “Hard” Boys face the Nemeth’s at Lockdown? The crowd approves, and he makes the match official! But that’s not all, as he tells Nic that he will defend his World Title against Jeff “Hard Boy”. And Ryan Nemeth will face Matt “Hard Boy” next week!
Nic and Ryan head to the barricade, and Ryan does a pelvic thrust at Aimee. She throws her drink his face and slaps him! They take off, and Matt and Jeff come over and celebrate with Aimee.
AJ Francis is still looking for donations in the back. He approaches referee Paige, and she gives him twenty dollars. He calls her a good woman, and he puts the money in his jacket lol. He approaches the Hometown Man, and he asks him for money. HTM says that he has a bar tab and he is out of money, but Francis says you aren’t being very nice in your hometown.
Elijah is here! Francis says that this is all your fault because you hit Expressions with a Tombstone! And then you won’t even donate to his fund? Elijah says that Francis better watch who he is talking to. Francis challenges Elijah to a steel cage match, and Elijah says you want a match after we settled this? Fine, he accepts, but you better be careful what you wish for.
The Knockouts TV Title Tourney rolls on, next!
BREAK IN PROGRESS!
Daria Rae is looking in her scheduler as we return. Santino Marella is here to brag about the matches that he made. Rae says she made some matches as well, and she didn’t like how the KO Tag Title match ended, so at Lockdown, the Elegance Brand will do battle with DemonxBunny. They both agree that they need to find Rosemary. Daria also says they need to cut some fat. Santino makes self-depreciating jokes, but Daria says the roster, you idiot. She wants to cut Harley Hudson, but Santino objects to this. Daria says she will try to explain THAT to the Board.
Who is moving on to the semifinals, Jody or Jada?
TNA Knockouts TV Title Quarterfinals Match: Jada Stone vs. Jody Threat
The bell rings, and Threat uses her size to hit a shoulder tackle. Stone leaps onto the shoulders of Threat, but Jada rolls her up for a two. Stone with a Matrix move and a dropkick to Jody for another two. Jody responds with a big Beel, and she clobbers Stone with clotheslines in the corner. Threat with a powerslam for a two.
Stone fights back, as she tries to clothesline her out of the ring. She tries a second time and finally gets Jody onto the apron. Stone goes running, but Threat catches her and she hits the World’s Strongest Slam on the apron! Threat interacts with the fans before heading back in and she gets a two on the pin.
Threat bends Stone over her knee, but Stone flips out and she kicks Jody into the ropes. She hits the Area Code Jones to the face of Threat. Stone with a big boot in the corner, she heads to the top and hits the Split-Legged Moonsault for a two. Stone indicates this is it, but Threat grabs her from behind. Elbow strike and a pump kick from Threat. She hits a knee strike against the ropes and follows it with a release German. Threat picks up Stone, but Jada elbows her way free. Self-defense kick from Stone, but she cartwheels right into Threat. Jada escapes and rolls up Threat with a handful of tights for the win!
WINNER: Jada Stone
TIME: 5:25
THOUGHTS: I’m not sure if I should be surprised that Stone won over Threat here, but I guess I am kind of surprised at least. Not a bad match.
RATING: ***1/4
Tom and Matt run Headlines (HEY, THAT’S MY THING, YA WANKERS) for the main event International Title match coming up. Jason Hotch makes his entrance, and we see his wife and his daughter are at ring side. We’ll have that match coming up next!

TNA International Title Match: Mustafa Ali (C) vs. Jason Hotch
Ali is talking that mad smack before the bell rings. When it does ring, we get a lock-up and a side headlock to Hotch. Ali with some short punches, off the ropes, and he flattens Hotch with a shoulder tackle. Ali berates him again, and Hotch shoes him how a headlock is done. Both men collide, but Ali lays out Hotch with a big chop. More chops from Ali, hammer throw from Ali, Hotch avoids him, but Ali with a Rana. That sends Hotch to the floor, where Ali takes him out with a Tope Suicida.
Ali walks around the ringside area, and he confidently walks past Jason’s wife and daughter. Hotch lays into Ali and finishes the flurry with a tornado DDT. Hotch returns Ali to the ring, and he hits a crossbody for a two. Aki puts a stop to his offense with chops. Hotch with a big punch, Ali calls him STUPID, and he catches Hotch with an enziguri. He blows a kiss to Hotch’s family, and he hits a moonsault to Ali on the floor! HOLY SHIT chants as we head out for the break.
During the break, Hotch hits Ali with a Rolling Neck breaker for a two. Hotch stomps down Ali in the corner for a bit, but his hammer throw is reversed by Ali, who hits him with a running dropkick. Hotch stalks Ali across the ring and he hits him with a big boot in the corner. Hotch ends up hitting the corner, Ali sneaks underneath and hits an Avalanche Code Red! Ali heads to the top, but Hotch meets up top. AVALANCHE SPANISH FLY FROM HOTCH! TNA chants ring out as both men are left down in the ring.
THIS IS AWESOME chants from the Philly Phans, as Hotch stretches his arm over a downed Ali, but he kicks out at two. Ali catches Hotch with a back elbow and he heads to the top and he hits a Tornado DDT of his own for a two. He indicates Hotch can kick his arse, and Ali heads to the top rope.
We return from break to see both men on the top turnbuckle. Ali looking for a Superplex, HOTCH COUNTERS WITH A SUPERPLEX THAT SENDS ALI THROUGH THE TABLE AT RINGSIDE! Order-4 are over to check on both Ali and Hotch! THIS IS AWESOME chants as the doctors check on both Ali and Hotch. The ref returns to the ring and he starts the count. Ali makes it back in at the count of eight, and Hotch BARELY makes it in before the ten count!
Ali stares down Hotch and he looks to kick him in the head, but Hotch catches his foot. He spins Ali around and chops away at him. Ali off the ropes, but Hotch moves and he plants Ali with a German! Hotch picks up Ali, he spins him around, and he hits a backbreaker to Ali over his own back! The cover, but that’s a two.
Hotch slowly climbs his way to the top rope. Frog Splash misses, Hotch rolls through, and Ali throws the ref in front of Hotch! The ref is down, and he hits Hotch with a low blow! Ali takes off his belt, and he whips Hotch with it. Skyler disarms Ali! Hotch runs in, but he collides with Skylar! Ali rolls up Hotch with his feet on the ropes, but Tasha Steelz shoves his feet off the ropes! Mila Moore and Tasha come to blows!
Ali hits Hotch with a piledriver in the confusion! Ali to the top, but he lands on the mat. Hotch heads up top, but Ali cuts him off. Hotch with a double knee strike from the top! Hotch heads up again and he hits the Splash! The cover, and we have a new Champion!
WINNER: Jason Hotch (AND NEW!!)
TIME: 14:50
THOUGHTS: call me surprised, but a good kind of surprised. Ali belittled his Great Hand to the point that he doubted and questioned himself, but in the end, he was able to beat Ali and take the title in front of his wife and daughter. And not for nothing, but the match in and of itself was pretty damn good as well.
RATING: ****1/4
Post-match, Hotch is awarded the International Title by Carlos Silva. The ref holds the ropes open so Jaosn’s wife and daughter can enter and celebrate with him. And with that, we are done!
