Hey kids! Steve Cook here with you for the latest episode of WWE Raw on Netflix! The World Heavyweight Championship #1 Contender tournament starts tonight as Penta faces off with Laredo Kid. Sol Ruca has a mysterious partner for a match against Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne Perez! Lots of speculation on that one, I don’t want to get my hopes up but someone that left NXT last week would be pretty nice.

Then. Now. Forever. Together!

We’re in the Norfolk Scope! Stephanie Vaquer is POSING FOR SELFIES! Becky Lynch is WALKING! The Judgment Day are WALKING! We see clips of Roman Reigns’ activities with LA Knight & Jacob Fatu from last week.

Michael Cole & Corey Graves are our hosts. Royce Keys’ injuries are listed, he’ll be out for quite some time. Solo Sikoa sings the Jey Uso song in the crowd and tells Norfolk he’s in their city. Last week the Bloodline took out his boy Royce Keys, so he came to Raw to handle some family business. The actual Jey Uso song hits and Jey makes his way down the entrance to the ring. We see Solo singing along while everyone Yeets. Jey asks his little brother if he really wants to air out their family laundry for the world to see again. Solo can fix this issue by falling in line. Solo wants to know why people keep saying that crap. How did it work out for Jey? Did he fall in line? It looks like he fell off. Jey was a World Champion, won the Royal Rumble, beat Gunther at WrestleMania, all the kids were happy hearing his music. Now, all that crap’s out the window. Solo’s not coming back to the family, he loves where he’s at. Virginia loves where Solo’s at, baby! Jey cuts Solo off and reminds him he fed him and changed his diapers. Solo’s there because of them. Solo thinks this is a game, but they’ll handle it the only way they usually do, Jey vs. Solo tonight! When Jey wins, Solo will fall in line and be delivered to the Tribal Chief. Jey fires his warning shot, Solo asks if everyone is all right and says he accepts. When Solo wins, Jey and their messed up family can leave him the hell alone. Solo pews his warning shot.

Cole & Graves talk about the #1 Contender’s Tournament to set up a title match for Roman Reigns on Raw in Mexico City on September 22nd. Then Penta says that every battle takes him one step closer to his opportunity. Penta respects Laredo Kid, but says Laredo won’t be ready. Laredo Kid says that this will be his moment. Penta gets the final word with his catchphrase.

Jey Uso walks up to Jimmy & Jacob. Jacob objects to Jey handling the Solo problem by himself, Jey reminds him that he couldn’t do it. Jacob tells Jey that he better get that dub.

World Heavyweight Championship #1 Contender’s Tournament: Penta vs. Laredo Kid: Laredo doesn’t want the handshake. They trade wristlocks, Penta arm drags Laredo out, gets a headlock, Penta kicks Laredo while he tries to do a backwards roll. Laredo kicks Penta in the corner, goes up top and hits a missile dropkick. Laredo teases a dive and runs into a Penta kick. Penta with a crossbody, then a rana. Laredo trips Penta and pulls him out of the ring and bounces his head off the apron. Laredo hits a moonsault to the floor! The rude fans don’t clap along with Laredo, he hits a couple of twisting sentons for two. A replay of Laredo’s moonsault is shown as we go to commercial.

Penta kicks Laredo as we return, then drops him on the turnbuckle. Slingblade by Penta, then two backbreakers. Kick in the corner, Handstand into the basement dropkick gets two. Poison rana by Laredo, then a 450 off the top gets two. Laredo runs into a superkick, then Penta hits a backstabber for two. Time for a strike exchange. Laredo goes off the ropes and gets superkicked down. Laredo rolls outside and Penta hits the tope con hilo! Penta Driver back in the ring gets two. Falcon Arrow by Laredo Kid! He goes up top and misses a moonsault. Penta hits the Mexican Destroyer and gets the three count!

Winner: Penta (7:41 shown via pinfall)

Penta will face either Psycho Clown or La Parka in the next round. He blows kisses to the crowd.

Byron Saxton is with the Vision. Logan Paul says that their current opposition are losers. Maxxine says that she knows Tozawa better than anyone so she knows he doesn’t have a chance with her bad boy, Austin. Theory says he’ll give Tozawa an asswhooping tonight. Tozawa will get what he deserves, Theory says he already got what he deserves and continues to maul Maxxine. Bron stays after they leave and asks Byron what he thinks of Oba Femi. Byron says he likes him, and Brock Lesnar said that Oba is the future. Bron tells Byron that he sounds like Paul, and leaves.

Akira Tozawa vs. Austin Theory (w/The Vision): We see a video reminding us of Bron’s interaction with Oba last week and Tozawa clearing the ring of Theory. Theory stomps Tozawa’s feet and elbows him in the corner. Tozawa hits a rana off the middle rope, Theory rolls outside and rolls back in to clothesline a charging Tozawa. Theory hits a double underhook suplex for two, then hits the chinlock. The fans chant about Logan Paul sucking to entertain themselves. Backbreaker by Theory. Hard whip into the corner by Theory and a stomp while Tozawa crawls in Maxxine’s direction. She talks some shit. Tozawa tries to fight back and gets hit with another backbreaker. Theory goes outside to swap spit as we go to commercial.

When we return Theory is having Maxxine kiss him in front of Tozawa. Back in the ring, Theory ends up getting DDTed. Big boot in the corner, then a shining wizard & senton get two. He tears his Maxxine t-shirt and kicks away at Theory. Theory gets up, and hits Tozawa with the Off Switch elbow strike for the three count.

Winner: Austin Theory (5:23 shown via pinfall)
Theory continues beating Tozawa up after the bell. Maxxine gets a chair and gives it to Theory. Officials and referees come down to keep Theory from doing more damage. Bron gets in the ring and gets ready to spear Tozawa, then the Oba Femi music hits! The fans chant Oba’s name while he struts to the ring. Theory runs down and Oba shrugs him off before standing on the apron. Oba enters the ring and here’s those officials and referees to break things up again. The fans want them to fight.

CATHY KELLEY introduces AAA GM Rey Mysterio. Rey says that Penta & Laredo Kid just had a banger, and Roman will have his hands full in Mexico City. Dragon Lee thanks Rey for his spot in the tournament, and Dominik Mysterio comes in to complain about not getting a spot. Rey says that Dom doesn’t need another handout, that’s how he became a jackass in the first place. Dragon says that he’ll show why Dominik is the fake king of Luchadores. Dom says he’ll prove why he’s the greatest Mysterio of all time.

Stephanie Vaquer is WALKING! We’ll hear from her next!

Cole & Graves show us Stephanie Vaquer getting taken out by Judgement Day right after WrestleMania, then Stephanie making her return last week and getting the better of them. Becky Lynch was also there, and there was some heat.

Stephanie Vaquer’s music hits! Chilean Hotness (© Pepe) makes her way to the ring.

Stephanie Vaquer’s music hits! Chilean Hotness (© Pepe) makes her way to the ring. I can’t tell if this was her most recent theme or not, to be honest. She’s happy to be back and missed the ring, Raw & the fans. What she missed most was Judgment Day getting scared every time they see her coming. She’ll eliminate them one by one. She beat Raquel up a thousand times and she can do it again. Roxanne is a dead woman. Liv should be scared, they both know the title belongs to Stephanie.

Becky Lynch’s music hits! The Man makes her way to the ring and faces off with Stephanie before hitting her opening catchphrase. Stephanie asks Becky what she wants. Becky wants the same thing Stephanie wants, to beat the piss out of Liv Morgan. Stephanie has a score to settle, Becky just doesn’t like her. Liv has taken that title on a time machine back to the mid 2000s and she can’t let that happen. She doesn’t know a lot about Stephanie, she’s an enigma, a bit mysterious. She knows Stephanie has made a big impact on Raw in a short time, which is impressive considering she’s gone more often than she’s here. She’s had some bad luck, happens to all of them. Becky can’t decide if Stephanie’s a badass that won’t give up, or if he body quits so her mind won’t. Stephanie can settle her score with Liv, but the title belongs to Becky. Stephanie doesn’t care, if Becky gets in her way she’ll learn what La Primera is all about. Stephanie leaves and Becky watches her until Liv Morgan attacks from behind! Becky blocks Oblivion and hits Liv with a Bexploder. Stephanie comes back and argues with Becky. Becky keeps saying she deserves the title and the title deserves her while leaving.

Congratulations to Bianca Belair & Montez Ford on their new addition!

Cathy is with LA Knight. LA stands the same place he stood last week. His watch told him it’s time for Roman to finally wrestle him. LA wanted to be in this tournament that ended up for luchadores. Solo comes up and warns LA about what’ll happen if he loses to Jey next week. After Royce & Solo, LA would be the next one in line.

Dragon Lee vs. “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio: Dragon dropkicks Dom at the bell and beats him down in the corner. Dom answers with a dropkick and stomps Lee down. They exchange strikes in the corner. Dragon ranas Dom over, sweeps him down in the corner and kicks him. Hard whip into the corner and a big boot by Dom. Lee double stomps Dom for two. Lee gets a crucifix pin for two, Dom goes for a suplex and Lee rolls him up for two. Dom clotheslines Lee down. Lee charges Dom in the corner, Dom sends him to the floor and hits a twisting crossbody. We go to commercial!

When we return, Dragon flips out of a move and runs Dom over a couple of times. A Tornado DDT by Lee gets two. Dom goes back outside and Lee hits the tope con hilo! Dom hits a 619 through the bottom rope, sending Lee down. Snap German and a superkick by Lee, but Dom hits the Michinoku Driver for two. Dom places Lee up top but gets put in the Tree of Woe for the Lee double stomp for two. Lee takes his elbow pad off only to be put in position for a 619. Dom’s frog splash meets Lee’s knees. Operation Dragon gets the three count!

Winner: Dragon Lee (7:31 shown via pinfall)

Well, it’s not Omos coming to Dom’s rescue, it’s another big monster! Big Cass boots Lee and puts him in a bear hug for the East River Crossing. Je’Von Evans’ music hits and the Young OG attacks Cass. Evans gets a little shine before getting his Cutter blocked by a clothesline. Cass hits the big kick on Evans before exiting the ring.

Byron is with Sol Ruca! He asks Sol about her tag team match tonight. Sol is tired of the Judgment Day vortex she’s been stuck in, and tonight is all about revenge. After she wins, she’ll continue targeting the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. It wasn’t hard for her to find people mad at the Judgment Day, so she got a partner. Danhausen appears and asks if he can be the partner, Sol says the spot is already filled.

Solo Sikoa warms up backstage.

LA Knight talks to Adam Pearce about entering the tournament with a mask. Pearce promises that after the tournament, LA can work himself into the #1 Contender’s spot. Jacob wants to know why LA keeps talking smack about his family. LA tells Jacob to talk to his Tribal Dad, and Jacob tells him to shut up and threatens his existence.

Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne Perez vs. Sol Ruca & IYO SKY: Not gonna lie, I’m a little nervous for Rhea Ripley seeing IYO team with Sol. Sol’s partnerships tend to be pretty close. Sol & Raquel start. Sol evades Raquel, then tries to take her over with a headlock. Big punch from Sol, she kicks Raquel down. Sol flips out of a hip toss and Raquel pushes her to the mat. Raquel with some elbows in the corner and a tag to Roxanne. Roxanne stomps Sol down in the corner. Roxanne snap mares and slaps Sol. Sol with a kick and a strike in the corner. IYO tags in and dropkicks Roxanne. Sol with a senton, IYO covers for two. Sol tags in and goes for a slam, but Roxanne goes to her eyes and tags Raquel. Raquel also tosses IYO in the ring and Sol & IYO avoid getting suplexed and send Roxanne & Raquel outside. IYO gets caught on a dive by Raquel, but Sol moonsaults onto them. Roxanne double clotheslines them from the apron and listens to the cheers/boos as we go to commercial.

Roxanne broke it up, and Sol hits her with a shining wizard. Roxanne headscissors Sol to the floor. IYO is hit with a reverse suplex by Raquel. Raquel hits a slingshot slam, Roxanne hits a springboard moonsault for two. Sol sends Raquel over the top rope, Roxanne kicks her down. IYO blocks Roxanne’s shining wizard and Germans her. Bullet train attack on Roxanne. Sol tags in and suplexes Roxanne. IYO goes fot the moonsault, but Raquel yanks her down. IYO hits an asai moonsault on Raquel on the floor. Roxanne goes for PopRox, Sol flips out of it, superkicks Roxanne and hits the Sol Snatcher for three!

Winner: Sol Ruca & IYO SKY (9:17 shown via pinfall)

Sol does IYO’s crazy pointing thing and IYO does some dancing. This is how it always starts.

Bron Breakker comes up to Paul Heyman to ask a question. Does Paul think that Oba Femi is the future of WWE? Paul has great love for Bron and respects Oba. Oba did everything he said he would do to Brock and he has to respect that. Bron says that’s not what he asked, so he asks the question again. Paul thinks that Bron is starting to think that Oba is the future of WWE, and that’s the problem. Paul will keep respecting Oba until Bron shows him that Oba is not worthy of his respect. Bron says “OK” and walks off.

Jey Uso warms up for his match.

Chad Gable comes up to Penta & Rey and puts over Penta’s performance earlier tonight. Chad says that Rey is doing a great job as AAA General Manager, and he wants to defend his Intercontinental Championship against the Greatest Luchador of all time! Next Week: Rey Fenix vs. El Fiscal! Dragon Lee vs. El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr.! Roman Reigns Returns!

Sol & IYO talk & walk until Lyra Valkyria interrupts them. She’s so happy for them and asks Sol what makes her think she can get the IC title back when she hasn’t? Sol asks her what she’s done, and Lyra tells her to ask Bayley. Lyra says Sol will regret it if she gets in her way and asks IYO what she’s looking at. Sol tells IYO that Lyra needs to get some sleep or something.

Jey Uso vs. Solo Sikoa: If Jey wins, he will deliver Solo to Roman Reigns next week on Raw. If Solo wins, he never has to deal with his family again. The first option sounds a bit more dramatic than the second, doesn’t it? Lots of trash talk to start, then a tieup. Solo pushes Jey off and yeets. Jey keeps talking about how if it wasn’t for him Solo wouldn’t be here. Solo works Jey into the corner and Jey punches him. Up and over in the corner, Solo runs Jey over. Headbutts by Solo. Solo hits a headbutt splash for two. Jey with a kick, then an elbowstrike by Solo. Jey gets sent outside and Solo yeets as we go to a Split Screen!

Solo follows Jey outside and smacks him on the announce table. Solo bounces Jey’s head off the table. Solo bounces Jey’s head off the post & the apron. Jey sends Solo into the steps. Back in the ring, Jey hip attacks Solo in the corner.

We go back full screen and Solo smacks Jey before getting sent outside. Jey dives onto Solo but seems to take the worst of it as he smacks the barricade. Jey up top, cross bodies Solo in the ring for two. Jey sets up the back it up, and Solo clotheslines Jey into the Rikishi bump! Solo with some punches. Solo hits a Samoan drop on Jey.
