Josh Alexander is set to serve as the head coach for Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling’s pro wrestling academy, as announced on Friday. Maple Leaf Pro announced announced on Friday that it is reopening the Can-Am Dojo in October. MLP head Scott D’Amore will serve as the dojo’s general manager, while Alexander will serve as head coach.
The announcement hypes the new academy as a “state-of-the-art 4,000 square foot facility” and describes it as follow:
“The Academy will offer a full spectrum of training, including both beginner and advanced courses, welcoming aspiring wrestlers at all stages of their journey. In addition to regular classes, the MLP Academy will host specialized seminars and clinics featuring top names from across the wrestling industry. These sessions will cover critical aspects of a professional wrestling career, including in-ring technique, promo skills, character development, brand building, etiquette, and professional conduct – ensuring students are prepared for every part of the business both inside and outside the ring.”
The announcement comes after Josh Alexander made his return on this week’s AEW Dynamite, attacking Darby Allin.
