Josh Alexander Returns on MLP Mayhem Four Months After Knee Surgery

AEW star Josh Alexander made his first appearance since getting injured earlier this year on the latest episode of MLP Mayhem.

The August 20, 2026, episode of MLP Mayhem ended with Alexander returning to confront Stu Grayson.

As noted, Alexander suffered a knee injury on the March 18, 2026, edition of AEW Collision, where he, El Clon, and Konosuke Takeshita unsuccessfully challenged JetSpeed and Mistico for the World Trios Championship.

The Walking Weapon underwent surgery in early April. Though he has been sidelined since then, Josh Alexander continues to remain the MLP Canadian Champion. In his absence, Stu Grayson was crowned as the interim champion.

The company has yet to confirm the date and setting for the title unification match. Notably, after the show went off the air, Grayson seemingly gave up the PWA Champion’s Grail Championship, opting to focus primarily on his responsibilities as the MLP Canadian Champion.
