Former WWE Superstar Kay Lee Ray (FKA Alba Fyre) recently opened up about her life post-WWE departure. As noted previously, Ray left WWE this past April after opting against signing a new deal. She has since worked dates for indie companies, such as Pro-Wrestling: EVE and Revolution Pro Wrestling.
During a recent virtual signing for K&S WrestleFest, Kay Lee Ray said she is excited to be a free agent again. The former WWE star is aiming to do some stuff on the indies and see where she goes from there.
She said, “Have been in a contract for seven years with WWE. I was in a contract before that for a year. I think I just need to be me for a while. I think I need to just enjoy; gone back out on the indies and doing some stuff and see where we go from there. I’m having so much fun in the past few months. It’s good to have fun again.”
Ray is set to work a three-show tour with PROGRESS Wrestling this coming September.
