Kevin Knight vs. Lio Rush TNT Title Bout Announced for Tonight’s AEW Dynamite

A new TNT Championship bout is now official for tonight’s AEW Dynamite. Kevin Knight will defend his title against reigning ROH World TV Champion Lio Rush for tonight’s live TBS broadcast (see below).

AEW’s announcement reads, “After intervening in the #ForbiddenDoor Steel Cage match at the chagrin of Team DCMJF, unpredictable ROH World TV Champion Lio Rush will fight ‘The Jet’ Kevin Knight for the TNT Title, TONIGHT!”

It was Team Mark Briscoe (Darby Allin, Konosuke Takeshita, Kyle O’Reilly, Mark Briscoe, Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong) against Team MJF (Andrade El Ídolo, Jake Doyle, Kazuchika Okada, Kevin Knight, Kyle Fletcher, and MJF). Team Briscoe was victorious in the bout.

Tonight’s AEW Dynamite is being held at the Viejas Arena in San Diego, California. The show will air live on TBS starting at 8:00 pm ET. It will also be simulcast on HBO Max. Here’s the updated lineup:
