On the latest episode of Kliq This, Kevin Nash walked through the friendships that have defined his life — and in doing so laid out the order in which the Kliq assembled on the road. The Kliq was the WWE backstage group that consisted of Nash, Scott Hall, Shawn Michaels, and Sean “X-Pac” Waltman. You can check out his comments below:
On His First Wrestling Friendships:
“Then it became the business, and it was like Raven, DDP, Scott — the early guys.”
On Steve Austin:
“Then Austin was that next tier, because he came the next year, and he and I traveled. I traveled with Steve almost exclusively out of Atlanta.”
On How the Kliq Formed:
“And then Scott left, went to New York, and it became me and Shawn and Scott. And we traveled everywhere for like probably almost six, seven months, until X-Pac with the Smoking Gunns. He jumped in with us, and then we went until Hunter joined. And so that was the Kliq.”
On Jeff Jarrett:
“But I was also always really, really close with Jeff Jarrett. Jeff was one of my — Jeff is to this day, you know, Jeff’s always been one of my boys.”
On the Office Side:
“And there’s office guys like Jeremy Borash and Ross Forman that I became friends with. I became very close friends with Eric Bischoff, and became friends with Hulk at different levels.”
