Kevin Nash says Shawn Michaels, not Hulk Hogan, is wrestling’s version of Michael Jordan. On the latest episode of Kliq This, Sean Oliver read a fan suggestion comparing wrestlers to NBA players including Hogan as Jordan, John Cena as LeBron James and Ric Flair as Magic Johnson.
Nash disagreed with the Hogan pick, said he didn’t think the comparisons were a good idea, and named former Detroit Pistons center Bill Laimbeer as his own NBA counterpart. Nash also talked about a recent Instagram post from Karen Jarrett about Jeff Jarrett refusing to replace his old SUV, saying he’s the same way when it comes to spending money on himself. You can check out his comments below:
On the Fan’s Pick Of Hulk Hogan as Michael Jordan:
“Where does he get these? To me, Jordan would be Shawn Michaels.”
On Comparing Wrestlers To Basketball Players:
“I don’t want to play. I don’t think it’s a good idea. I don’t get it. It’s like Tom Hanks in Big when he says, ‘I don’t get it.’ A building turns. I don’t get it.”
On Which NBA Player He Would Compare Himself To:
“Bill Laimbeer.”
On Being Like Jeff Jarrett In Terms Of Spending Money On Himself:
“I saw an Instagram post that Karen Jarrett posted, and they were driving, and she had the phone on her, and she said, ‘It’s probably the last trip in this car.’ I guess Jeff was driving a 2004 Tahoe, and she says Jeff won’t buy anything for himself unless she buys it for him, so she’s going to have to put her foot down because she’s tired of driving it. And she looks over at Jeff, and Jeff’s like, ‘There’s nothing wrong with this Tahoe.’ That’s me, though. I’m the same way. I’m not buying any big-ticket items.”
