KJ Orso made his TNA debut at Genesis last weekend, but he is still a free agent according to a new report. Orso appeared on the Countdown pre-show for last Saturday’s PPV, working the four-way match for the TNA International Championship. Stacks was able to retain the title in the match, which also included Eric Young and BDE.
There was some speculation on whether Orso had signed with TNA, but a report from Fightful Select has shot the notion down. The outlet reports that according to sources in TNA, Orso made a good impression with his appearance on the pre-show. However, as of now he has not been offered a contract.
Orso is better known to some as Fuego Del Sol, and was signed to AEW from 2021 through mid-2023. Fightful Select notes that AEW has kept the door open for him to return in the past, but there’s no word on any progress on that front.
Orso did previously work a match at Impact Wrestling’s Victory Road in 2019, as well as at Impact and World Class Revolution’s Operation Override that same year. His match at Genesis was his first bout under the TNA banner. He was a regular for GCW in 2025 while working a number of other independent shows.
