Kofi & Austin Creed Reveal AEW Contract Allows Them to Wrestle for Other Promotions

Kofi and Austin Creed recently commented on the nature of their AEW deals, revealing whether they would remain exclusive to the company or would be allowed to wrestle for other promotions.

The New Level duo appeared on The Ariel Helwani Show to discuss their WWE departure, signing with AEW, and more. During the conversation, Helwani asked Kofi and Austin Creed whether they’d remain exclusive to AEW or be allowed to wrestle for indie promotions. The AEW stars said the possibilities are endless for them and that “anything and everything” is on the table.

“We can jump around and do some other things. So we still have opportunities to go to other places and to wrestle people. So that fact that tag team wrestling is all across the world is something that’s really exciting to us.”

“Yeah, anything and everything. Everything is on the table. I’m still getting used to being able to have so much freedom to be able to, again, just do what we want to do. So yeah, like, Austin said, there’s so many opportunities aplenty, as you see with a lot of the AEW wrestlers doing all kinds of things on the roster and then internationally as well.

“I think… I don’t remember who the promotion was that he was wrestling for, but somewhere in Africa, he was wrestling. He was the champion there in Africa somewhere, you know what I mean? So the possibilities are endless. And yeah, it’s very exciting to have those opportunities.”
