Kota Ibushi Shares Update Regarding His Recovery, Underwent Surgery To Fix a Loose Screw

AEW wrestler Kota Ibushi shared an update on his Instagram account, as he’s recovering from his broken femur injury he suffered last year on AEW Collision.
Ibushi noted in the update that one of his screws came loose, so he had to undergo another surgery to fix the issue. He wrote in the caption, “A major screw came loose. This time, two spots are firmly secured. Complete rest! I was told several times, ‘Mr. Ibushi, complete rest!!’ but I’ll do things my way. I’m grateful, truly grateful, that I’m allowed freedom in my rehab. Thank you for the surgery. Thank you, everyone. Thank you, AEW.”
Ibushi was informed his recovery will likely sideline him for two years. However, the wrestler is hopeful he might be able to return to the ring later this year. You can view the Instagram post that Kota Ibushi shared below:
