Kris Statlander Is ‘Very Upset’ She Doesn’t Have Any Facial Scars

Kris Statlander says she wants a facial scar from the ring and is “very upset” that she hasn’t gotten one yet. Statlander spoke with 98 Rock Baltimore ahead of tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, and during the conversation the hosts asked her about some of her hardcore matches and crazy pumps that she’s taken.

When one of the co-hosts noted that she doesn’t look like she’s had a lot of war wounds, Statlander said pointed out a couple of small scars but said she wants to have one. You can see the highlights below:

On Not Having Facial Trauma:

“I know. I’m actually very upset about that. I — I’ve never had a black eye. I don’t really have any scars on my face. And I love scars. I do want a scar. I have a small scar on my lip because I did a powerslam, and my face hit the girl’s cheekbone and my lip ring — didn’t get ripped out; it went down and split my lip that way. That was only one stitch so — and the lip ring covers as you can’t even see it.

On Her Forehead Scar:

“I do have a very tiny scar on my forehead like right in the middle. Yeah, it’s really small. It was — when I first started training I was a lot weaker than I was now and I was learning up-and-overs. And I went too far forward, and I bashed my face open on the post. And I like hardway’d myself. And I was like three weeks into training, but then I just put a Band-Aid on my head and I went right back, yeah.”
