Kyle Fletcher & Kevin Knight Defeat Darby Allin & Steven Borden via Referee Stoppage at AEW All Out: Chicago

Steven Borden’s AEW PPV in-ring debut didn’t pan out as he would have expected, as he and Darby Allin lost the tag team match against Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight via referee stoppage.

Borden started the proceedings for his team after Fletcher insisted on Darby tagging the rookie. He held his own against the heels, firing off with an arm-drag on The Jet and also nailing a Dropkick.

However, the heels quickly took control of the proceedings after Fletcher powerbombed Darby onto the steel steps at ringside. Later in the match, Kevin Knight attempted a Coast to Coast on Allin. However, Borden went to the other side and collided with Knight mid-air. The referee ultimately stopped the match after deeming Borden unfit to continue and awarded the match to Kevin Knight and Kyle Fletcher.

Thanks to their victory, Fletcher and Knight are the new number-one contenders for the AEW World Tag Team Championship.
