Kyle Fletcher Comments On Tension With Kazuchika Okada: ‘We’ll See What Unfolds’
Kyle Fletcher had a bit of an issue with Kazuchika Okada last week on AEW Dynamite, something he addressed during the AEW Redemption post-show. As previously noted, the two had issues on last week’s Dynamite when Okada accidentally hit Fletcher with a Rainmaker during thier match against Brodido. Fletcher screamed at Okada after the match and saying he was at fault for their loss.
Fletcher was asked about the situation during the post-show media scrum for the PPV. He sounded none too apologetic about the tirade and suggested that they would need to have some tough talks before they teamed up again, but can get through it.
“Yes, I think there is probably going to be some tension after someone Rainmakers you in the face when they definitely should not have been doing so,” Fletcher said. “So, I think we will see how things play out. There will probably have to be some hard sitdowns and hard discussions before the next time we team up together.”
He continued, “But I think we’re strong enough to get through these differences, I would like to say. So we’ll see what unfolds.”
Fletcher defeated Bandido to retain the AEW International Championship at Redemption.
