Make way for the new AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champions. The opening week of AAA Verano de Escándalo saw Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana defend the World Mixed Tag Team Championship against La Hiedra and Laredo Kid.

The final stages of the match saw Lola Vice flatten La Hiedra with a Superkick to the head. However, Laredo Kid broke up the pinfall attempt.

Iguana took out Kid with the Iguanarana outside. However, Laredo responded by sending Iguana into the steel steps. Vice tried to roll up La Hiedra for the pinfall but was sent into the ropes. She responded by flattening Kid with her trademark Spinning Backfist. This allowed La Hiedra to slam her face-first to secure the pinfall.

This marks the end of Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana’s reign as AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champions at 168 days. They captured the title from Ethan Page and Chelsea Green’s replacement, La Hiedra, during the February 7, 2026, episode of AAA.
