La Parka scored a huge upset winning the vacant AAA Latin American Title at today’s AAA Ola de Calor event. After El Hijo del Vikingo vacated the title due to injury, a Fatal 4-Way bout was held at today’s event to determine a new champion.

La Parka ultimately won the bout, which also featured former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest, El Fiscal, and El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. Priest nearly had the match won after delivering a Razor’s Edge to Dr. Wagner Jr., followed up by a South of Heaven to El Fiscal.

However, La Parka came back in from out of nowhere with a Big Splash off the top rope to break up Priest’s pinning attempt. That gave the Chairman the opportunity to hit El Fiscal to score the win and the belt.

This marks the first major AAA Title win for the current version of the masked luchador. You can see clips from the title matchup below.
