Latest On AEW Status of Keith Lee

Keith Lee hasn’t been seen in AEW in almost three years, but he is still reportedly with the company. Lee last competed on AEW TV at the December 23rd, 2023 Holiday Bash episode of AEW Collision. Since then, he has been off of TV and his in-ring status has not been entirely clear.

A fan question in the latest Fightful Select Answers Q&A asked about Lee’s contract and injury status. Sean Ross Sapp said that Lee is still under contract with AEW and isn’t currently factored into any future creative plans.

As previously noted, a comeback for Lee was discussed at a point in the first half of the year, but obviously it didn’t happen and there was no reason why given.

Keith Lee got a bit of controversy online after he posted a pic with Darius Wright in September, a figure who teaches alternative spirituality practices like out of body experiences and more. Sapp noted that the post was a “topic of conversation for about a day” in the company, but there was nothing talked about after that.
