WWE SmackDown is heading back to two hours soon, and a new report has details on exactly when. As noted, it was reported in April that the show will be returning to the two-hour format in early summer. The latest Wrestling Observer Radio has confirmed that the show will return to two hours with the July 3rd episode.
Specifically, Dave Meltzer noted that the June 26th episode is the last three-hour episode. USA Network and WWE are moving the show back to two hours and airing Everything On The Menu With Braun Strowman in the 10 PM ET hour. The Strowman-led culinary series will air at 11 PM ET for its first month, as it premieres this Friday after having aired a “preview” episode last week.
WWE SmackDown similarly started 2025 as a three-hour show and then moved back to two hours starting on July 4th. Meltzer noted that the deal is (as you would expect at this point) a “six months on, six months off” situation.
Neither WWE nor USA Network have officially announced the return to two hours for SmackDown as of yet.
