Laynie Luck Recalls Reaction Backstage To AJ Styles Working On WWE EVOLVE

Laynie Luck says there was, understandably, a lot of excitement when AJ Styles showed up to help out at WWE Evolve. Luck, the former WWE ID Women’s Champion, recently spoke with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp for a new interview. During the conversation, she spoke about Styles coming to the developmental brand to produce and give advice after he retired from the ring.

“When AJ Styles started popping up, we were like, ‘Oh my freaking God,” Luck recalled. “‘A.J. Styles is gonna help us with some of these ideas.’ Just the way that he could take something. Like, here’s the vision. How do we get there? He will know how to get you there.”

Luck exited the WWE ID program earlier this month when her contract was not renewed. Her exit came just a few days after she lost the title to Monica Monroe.
