– During a recent edition of Lex Expressed, former WWE Superstar Lex Luger recalled working with NBA legend Dennis Rodman at WCW Bash at the Beach 1997. At the event, Luger and The Giant (aka Paul Wight) teamed up against Hollywood Hogan and Rodman.
Luger said on working with Rodman (via WrestlingInc.com), “Well, it was a blast. Just the day before, we had a ring set up in a warehouse, we went through some things and that was reassuring because we had no [idea] how Rodman would perform and respond, but the way he bumped? He was so compliant as far as what was going to be done, he was great.”
Lex Luger and The Giant picked up the win over Hogan and Dennis Rodman via submission in the main event. Rodman would later return to work with WCW again at Bash at the Beach 1998, teaming with Hollywood Hogan against DDP and Karl Malone.
