Trick Williams has a shot at the WWE United States Championship after Lil Yachty survived five minutes with Baron Corbin at Sunday Night’s Main Event. Sunday Night’s Peacock special opened with Corbin facing Yachty in a five minute challenge. Per the stipulation of the match, if Yachty went the distance Williams would get an automatic title shot.
Corbin dominated Yachty for the bulk of the time limit and decided to spend the full time punishing him during his first match. As the time limit ticked down, Corbin put Yachty on the top rope and climbed up. However, Yachty low blow kicked Corbin and crotched him on the ropes. The time limit then ran out, giving Yachty the win and earning Williams a title shot.
