Lineup for AAA Rey de Reyes Week Three: El Hijo del Vikingo to Call Out Penta & More

Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide presented Week Two of Rey de Reyes tonight. During the show, the promotion confirmed the lineup for the final week.

On tonight’s show, El Hijo del Vikingo was seen expressing his frustrations at not being able to dethrone Dominik Mysterio as AAA Mega Champion last Saturday. According to the stipulation of that match, Vikingo can’t challenge for the title as long as it’s in the possession of Dominik.

However, Dorian Roldan gave the former Mega Champion a new purpose tonight. Roldan urged Vikingo to shift his focus toward WrestleMania 42 and WWE Intercontinental Champion Penta.

It was later announced that El Hijo del Vikingo would call out Penta next Saturday. Notably, Penta revealed last Saturday that he would be defending his championship in AAA as well.

Also on next week’s Rey de Reyes, the World Cruiserweight Championship will be on the line, with Laredo Kid defending it against Jack Cartwheel, TJ Perkins, and Dragon Lee in a Fatal Four-Way.

Additionally, El Fiscal will go one-on-one with Abismo Negro.
