Lio Rush Got Major Heat in NXT Over Emma Release Joke

– Lio Rush’s joke about Emma’s release on Sunday earned him major heat backstage at NXT, with many people suspecting he would get fired over it. The WON reports that Rush’s post, which referenced Asuka’s two straight wins over Emma by saying, “I guess these are the things that happen when you’re not TRULY ready for [Asuka],” got him in so much trouble that there was near-immediate talk that he may be fired.
