Liv Morgan Addresses Her WWE Women’s World Championship Loss

Liv Morgan has finally reacted to losing the WWE Women’s World Championship to Stephanie Vaquer, calling the controversial finish the “Santiago Screwjob.”
The title change happened at WWE’s September 12 live event at Movistar Arena in Santiago, Chile. The match featured Becky Lynch as a special guest referee. Morgan appeared to have defeated Vaquer after hitting Oblivion and covering her for the pin. However, Lynch stopped her count at two before refusing to complete the fall. Lynch flipped Morgan off before the match continued.
Vaquer took advantage of the distraction and hit her with the SVB and followed with the Vaquer Inferno as Becky counted the pinfall. The victory made Vaquer a two-time WWE Women’s World Champion. She previously held the title before losing it to Morgan at WrestleMania 42.
Sharing three images from the night, Liv Morgan wrote on X:
“The greatest tragedy in the history of wrestling .. The Santiago screwjob 🖕”
Morgan’s defeat ended her second reign with the Women’s World Championship after 147 days. She made two successful title defenses during that run. One of those defenses came against Vaquer on the September 7 episode of Raw.
