Live Events Senior Director Exits MLW, AEW Alumnus Steps In To Take Role

MLW has had a switch in their Senior Director of Live Events, with Mike Kitlas leaving and AEW alum Rafael Morffi stepping in. PWInsider reports that Kitlas, who had been with MLW since 2019, has exited to take a position with Real American Freestyle.

The report notes that Kitlas was “extremely well liked” and was known for being one of the first in and last out of every venue MLW ran in. Kitlas is said to have been involved in every aspect of the Live Events department.

Fightful Select reports that Morffi took over the Senior Director role about a month ago. Morffi exited AEW in late 2023 and became a senior executive at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
