Logan Paul & Austin Theory Defeat The Street Profits to Retain World Tag Team Championship at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event XLIV

Logan Paul and Austin Theory managed to overcome The Street Profits at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event and walk out of Fort Wayne still as the World Tag Team Champions.

The defending champions felt the heat from the Fort Wayne crowd right from the outset, as the audience vehemently booed them.

The Street Profits capitalized on it and dominated Paul and Theory for a bit. However, The Vision wrestled back the momentum after initially threatening to walk out of the match.

Later in the match, Montez Ford took out Austin Theory with a suicide dive over one of the posts. At this moment, Bron Breakker came out of nowhere and tried to Spear Ford. However, Ford dodged it, and Dawkins sent Breakker flying onto the commentary table.

Ford then hit a Frog Splash on Theory and covered him for a pinfall, but Paul Heyman came to The Vision’s rescue, as he put Theory’s leg on the rope. As Ford went after Heyman, Logan Paul knocked him out with the brass knuckles, paving the way for Theory to pin him and retain the World Tag Team Championship.

After the match, Bron Breakker stormed to the ring and Speared both Dawkins and Ford. He closed out the show with Theory and Paul posing alongside him and Paul Heyman laughing behind them.

Paul and Theory’s reign currently stands at 55 days. They captured the belts from The Usos on the Road to WrestleMania 42.
