New details continue to emerge in the Ludwig Kaiser arrest case. Mike Johnson of PwInsider is now reporting that Kaiser, i.e., Marcel Barthel, has pleaded “not guilty” to the battery charges levied against him in the state of Florida.

The German pro wrestler has also waived his right to appear for his first formal court appearance.

As previously noted, Ludwig Kaiser surrendered on May 20 after a warrant was issued against him on the charge of battery by Orange County in Orlando, Florida. He was ultimately granted bail following a $1000 bond at 11:20 p.m. ET.

According to an affidavit filed in Orange County, the complainant, identified as Richard Reap, alleged that Kaiser punched him and threatened more violence after he objected to the WWE Superstar and an unidentified woman engaging in an “uncontrollably intimate” manner in an elevator.

This morning, Kaiser’s advocates filed an application in the court, requesting the Florida court to grant permission to their client to travel freely, noting that his work requires frequent travel in and outside the US. Kaiser was reportedly in Mexico when he learned about his arrest warrant.
