Marie Malenko Comments On Signing With WWE

Marie Malenko is part of the latest WWE Performance Center class, and she issued a comment to social media on the announcement being made official. As noted, WWE announced four new recruits on Wednesday including Mason Rook, Nicole Martinez, Marcus Brown, and Lacey Simon. The latter is the new ring name of Malenko.

Malenko posted to Instagram to comment on her signing, writing:

“since birth babyyyyyy. knew what I wanted and got it. let’s get to work. Gods plan.”

Marie Malenko is the daughter of WWE and WCW alumnus Dean Malenko and the granddaughter of the legendary Boris Malenko. She signed with WWE in late March after participating in a tryout in February.

There’s no word as of yet on when Malenko/Simon will make her WWE NXT TV debut.
