WWE has reportedly signed a third-generation wrestler to a deal. According to Bodyslam+, Marie Malenko has officially inked a deal with the company and is set to head to the WWE Performance Center soon.
Marie made her in-ring debut at Pro Wrestling NOAH last month. She teamed up with Sofia Sivan to take on the teams of Alivia Rose & Great Sakuya and Dream Girl Ellie & ZONES in a three-way tag team contest. Later that month, Marie participated in a WWE Tryout session and reportedly made an impression, leading to the company offering her a deal.
Marie Malenko is, of course, a third-generation wrestler. She is the daughter of veteran in-ring technician Deal Malenko, who won championship gold during his stints with WWF, WCW, and ECW. Dean also worked as a road agent for WWE from 2001 to 2019 and is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling as a senior producer. She is also the niece of Joe Malenko and the granddaughter of Boris Malenko.
