Dean Malenko’s Daughter Marie Participates In WWE Tryout

Dean Malenko’s daughter Marie was part of this week’s WWE tryouts, according to a new report. Fightful Select reports that Marie Malenko was in attendance at this week’s tryouts, which took place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

The report doesn’t have much information about Malenko’s attendance beyond her presence there. The tryouts also included the likes of Notorious Mimi, Zoe Sager, Stevie and Tome Filip, The Tuckman & Scott Green, Promise Braxton, Ricky South, Valentina Rossi, Fallyn Grey, Nikki Blackheart, Airica Demia, and Miranda Alize.

Marie Malenko is the daughter of former WCW cruiserweight stalwart Dean Malenko and the granddaughter of Boris Malenko. Dean Malenko worked as an agent/producer with WWE from 2001 through 2019. He is currently part of AEW as a coach/producer.

As noted, Marie made her debut for Pro Wrestling NOAH at their Monday Magic show at the start of the month, teaming with Sofia Sivan in a three-way tag team match. She has also competed at recent events for Rossy Ogawa’s Dream Star Fighting Marigold.
