Indie wrestler Miranda Alize was among the many athletes at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, this week for a WWE Tryout session.
Earlier today, NXT head booker Shawn Michaels posted a video from the latest tryouts session on social media, highlighting Alize as one of the participants.
Alize’s partner, Nixon Newell, commented on HBK’s post, stating, “Number 34 (Alize’s shirt number) is my favorite.”

Miranda Alize trained under WWE Hall of Famer Booker T at Reality of Wrestling and currently performs on the independent circuit. She has previously performed in Ring of Honor.
Last November, Alize and Nixon Newell created headlines when they walked out of an AEW Collision taping ahead of their scheduled tag team match against Anna Jay and Tay Melo.
Later, reports emerged that while Alize and Newell didn’t have an issue with losing, they requested more than three minutes for the match. The duo was ultimately replaced by Hyan and Maya World, who have since signed contracts with All Elite Wrestling. Later, they explained their decision on a Twitch stream.
