Big Cass Comments On Recent Reports About How WWE Views Him: ‘I’m Here To Do Business’

Big Cass isn’t bothered by the recent reports of how WWE views him internally, as he’s focused on doing everything that the company demands of him. As noted, it was reported last month that there is a perception within WWE that fan expectations about Enzo Amore reuniting with Big Cass are holding things back with the latter from a creative standpoint.

Cass recently appeared on The Sal Licata Show, where the host brought up the above report. Cass said that he’s least bothered about it, as he returned to the company with the sole intention of doing business and is ready to do anything that the creative team demands of him. Here’s what he said:

“I’m here to do business”

“It’s funny. I just talked to Hunter about all this the other day. Just what you’re talking about, the dirt sheets and everything. I’m coming back with the attitude of I’m here to do business. I fell short of my own expectations as a professional the first time. I’m coming back to do business. I’m coming back to do things right. Whatever the company needs is that they’re going to get out of me. Whether the company needs me to come out first every night and open the show, that’s what they’re going to get 100% of. If they need me to close the show, they’re going to get 100%. If they need me to do a popcorn match, they’re going to get 100%. I’m here to do the best that I can with what they’re giving me and what they see in me.”

On Reports About How WWE Views Him

“So whatever the dirt sheets want to say, and important dirt sheet writers or that don’t work in the company have to say, their opinion is their opinion. Everyone’s always looking for a story, and negative sells; positive never sells. You know, you’re always going to want to read about someone messing up over someone doing something really great. So the negativity sells, and I’m sure it gets the clicks. So, I’m here to do the best that I can with what I’m given and what position Hunter’s putting me in, and we’ll see where it goes. I’m here for the ride, baby. I’m here to take this ride, do things right this time, put my head down, work hard, and do the best that I can with what I’m given and what’s expected of me. We’ll see where things go.”
