Mark Henry believes Oba Femi could become WWE’s next top star, comparing his potential to that of Brock Lesnar, Ric Flair, and Andre the Giant.
Femi moved to WWE’s main roster in January 2026 and has primarily feuded with Brock Lesnar. He faced Lesnar in a Hell in a Cell match at SummerSlam. Femi survived multiple F5s during the match. He also took a Tombstone Piledriver on the exposed ring boards. He eventually hit Fall From Grace and scored the pinfall.
The victory gave Femi a win over Lesnar in one of WWE’s major matchups. It also marked Lesnar’s first loss inside Hell in a Cell and his final match in WWE. After the match, Lesnar took the microphone and referred to Femi as the future of WWE.
Speaking to Casino.org, Henry said Femi is already at Roman Reigns’ level in popularity. He also believes Femi is following a path that could lead him to WWE’s top spot (via Fightful).
“Oba Femi could easily be the new face of WWE. I would put him equal to Roman Reigns in popularity right now. I think that he’s on the trajectory of becoming a great like Brock Lesnar, a Ric Flair or even an Andre the Giant.”
Oba Femi has also won the 2026 King of the Ring tournament, earning a world title shot at SummerSlam. However, he postponed it to have the match with Brock Lesnar.
