Marty Jannetty has shared a heartfelt update after undergoing a below-the-knee amputation, thanking fans and the Cauliflower Alley Club for helping him through his recovery. The former WWE star posted a photo on social media showing himself in rehabilitation with a prosthetic leg, offering fans another look at his recovery process.

In recent years, Jannetty has spoken openly about his health challenges. Back in January 2024, he revealed that doctors had recommended amputating his leg. Later that year, he also shared the news of his sister’s passing. Earlier this year, his family confirmed that the surgery had taken place and thanked fans for their support.

In a Facebook post, Marty Jannetty said he is now focused on adapting to life with a prosthetic. He also revealed that while his health insurance covered part of the medical costs, he still needed additional financial help to cover the remaining expenses. A large part of his message was dedicated to thanking the Cauliflower Alley Club. He also promised that if he ever has the chance to return the favor, he’ll be there for the organization.

“As many of you all know, Ive [recently] had to undergo an amputation,” The very first thing I must do is thank Brian Blair and his GREAT staff at the Cauliflower Alley Club or CAC. Theyve showed me quite a lot of love and compassion for my situation. Without their help I dont think I would’ve gotten through this very tough time in my life. Insurance only covers so much so I definitely needed their help. And of course if ever a time comes when I can do something for them I’M THERE!!! Thanx again CAC.”

The Cauliflower Alley Club is a nonprofit organization that provides financial assistance and support to wrestlers and others in the combat sports industry who have fallen on difficult times. Former WWE star Brian Blair, known for the Killer Bees tag team with Jim Brunzell, serves as the organization’s president and CEO. The club’s annual reunion is scheduled for August 24-26 in Las Vegas.

Jannetty remains one of the most recognizable tag team wrestlers of his era. He rose to prominence in the AWA before becoming one-half of The Rockers alongside Shawn Michaels in WWE. The duo became one of wrestling’s most popular tag teams during the late 1980s and early 1990s.
