Marty Jannetty Reportedly Underwent a Foot Amputation

Former WWE Superstar Marty Jannetty reportedly underwent a foot amputation recently. Jannetty’s longtime friend, Eddy Mansfield, revealed the news during a recent edition of Monte & The Pharaoh (h/t Fightful).

Mansfield stated on Jannetty, “One of my dearest friends ever on the face of this earth, and was a great wrestler, had his foot amputated, his name is the Rocker Marty Jannetty.”

Mansfield also noted that he’s stood up for years for the wrestlers to be taken care of and also called on WWE to help Jannetty. He stated, “You can’t help him when he is in the biggest need of his life and fighting for his life.”

Of course, Jannetty was once part of the iconic tag team duo, The Rockers, with WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels. He’s also a former WWE Intercontinental Champion. The wrestler said earlier in 2024 that doctors told him that they wanted to amputate his leg. He had been dealing with ankle issues for a number of years.
